Just got back from the NewTek U. classes in Seattle, and thought I'd post
this info re: the final 4.0 release. Bob Anderson said (semi-officially)
that the ONLY thing left to fix/begin/finish in the Intel 4.0 release is
the .AVI support. It should be completed and shipping within a week or
two.
BTW...one of the few bugs left in the Amiga 4.0 version is one that
occasionally crashes the machine when an image map is cleared. The 4.0
beta being used at the classes demonstrated this bug a couple times....
once by totally crashing, then later by triggering a recoverable error.
As for the NewTek U. classes, they were good. A little more basic in
their coverage than I was led to believe from the ads, but I still learned
some cool stuff. (The college paid my way, so I'm not worried!)
